When is this trip happening?

The Cooking with Alia trip will start on September 26, 2015 and will end on October 4 for the regular tour and October 8 for the extended tour. If you are interested in this trip but can’t make these dates, click here to view other start dates for a similar itinerary.

How much does the trip cost?

The price per person in double accommodation is $3600 for the 9 days / 8 nights itinerary and $5400 for the 13 days / 12 nights itinerary. The cost includes all meals (including wine), activities as listed above, cooking workshops, sightseeing, tips and taxes as well as the internal flight from Ouarzazate to Casablanca on Day 9 of the tour. International airfare to and from Morocco is not included in the tour cost. The single supplement is $1300 for the 9 days/ 8 nights tour and $2000 for the 13 days / 12 nights tour.

Where will we be staying?

We will be staying in a combination of 5* hotels and riads that represent the very best of Moroccan hospitality, service, and local architecture in each city that we will be visiting. We will spend the night in the desert in a privatized camp of Nomad-style tents with heated water, Western-style bathrooms, and an electric generator.

What type of transportation will we be using?

We will be traveling in spacious SUVs throughout the trip, with 3 people per car for a pleasant and comfortable ride at all times. Our cars will move in convoy, with radio contact connecting the vehicles to ensure smooth communications and flexibility to accommodate the pace to your particular preferences in terms of driving time and stops along the way.

What type of meals will we be having?

The meals on the trip are designed to give you a taste of the best that Moroccan gastronomy has to offer in the different regions that we will be visiting. We will make sure to accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences that you have throughout the trip.

How large will the group be?

This trip is limited to a maximum of 18 guests to keep the experience intimate and give you the opportunity to get to know your guides and stay in some of best boutique accommodations available in Morocco.

How do I sign up?

You can reserve your spot on the trip through a non-refundable $1,000 deposit through our online Square store. We will contact you shortly after receipt of your deposit to confirm your reservation and send you a detailed pre-arrival questionnaire. Your balance payment will be due 30 days before departure.

She runs the popular YouTube channel Cooking With Alia, where her quick, chirpy how-tos explaining Moroccan recipes generated an instant fan base. Alia’s cooking has been featured internationally as a guest judge in MasterChef Poland or as a winner in International cooking competitions.
